Cashmere

Mongolia is one of the coldest countries in the world. So, whoever lives there expertise/owns the warmest things to survive. (includes goat that produces cashmere). When winter is over and the weather gets warm enough, the goat naturally sheds its winter "coat". So, Mongolian nomadic herdsmen using hand-combing technique to collect their cashmere. The herders sold their combed cashmere to local cashmere mills, so our yarn is from there. In the final step of production, our partner group of Mongolian textile artisans crafts them with love and care. 
By developing and promoting Mongolian cashmere and wool products, we honor Mongolia’s last remaining nomadic culture.
